How to Use
Use WheatGerm Floating Fish Food to feed your pond fish up to 5 times per day, but do not exceed the amount that fish will comfortably eat within a five-minute period. Start feeding WheatGerm Fish Food once pond water drops below 60°F (16°C), its wheat germ-based formula is much easier for the fish to digest in cooler water temperatures. Fish are cold-blooded and cannot digest food as easily once the water temperature falls below 60°F (16°C); which is why we developed a wheat germ based fish food.
Precaution: All fish feeding should stop once the water temperature reaches 40°F (5°C). Fish are in a lethargic state at this temperature, similar to hibernation, and they will live off stored body fat until spring feeding begins.
