Maintaining your water aeration system is essential for the longevity of your system and to ensure optimal efficiency
One of the main reasons air filters are used in water aeration systems is to remove dust and other particulate matter from the air. Dust and other small particles can clog the aeration equipment, reducing its efficiency and shortening its lifespan. An air filter can help to prevent this by trapping these particles before they have a chance to reach the equipment.
Another important function of air filters in water aeration systems is to remove moisture from the air. Moisture can cause rust and corrosion in the aeration equipment and create a breeding ground for bacteria and other microorganisms. Air filters contain materials that remove moisture from the air, helping to protect the aeration equipment and improve the quality of the aerated water.
Our compressor maintenance kits will include all necessary parts for the air compressor, such as the air filter, oil filter, oil, gaskets and seals, and the manual for the maintenance tasks the user can follow. This will ensure that the compressor will always be in top condition, with the correct oil and filter pressure levels, prolonging the compressor’s life and ensuring that it works efficiently.
Maintenance kits are essential for water aeration systems and compressors because they provide the necessary parts and tools for regular maintenance, which helps keep the equipment running efficiently, prolong its lifespan, identify potential problems and ensure that the equipment is always in top condition.
It is recommended that you perform diaphragm maintenance (Using KoiAir 1 Maintenance Kit - Item #510145 or KoiAir 2 Maintenance Kit - Item #510146) every 12 months of operation. Clean filters are essential for the compressor to perform optimally! Dirty filters cause the compressor to work harder and run hotter. Each environment impacts how often the filters need to be changed.
No maintenance is required. Replace membrane sticks (#510168) if visibly damaged or if the system has poor performance.
Unscrew the cover on the back of the compressor to expose the air filter. Remove the air filter and brush away any dust particles. Air filter should be replaced every 3-6 months. (KoiAir 1- #510153, KoiAir 2- #510149)
It is recommended that the compressor is in a covered yet ventilated area. The Faux rocks are a great option as they are vented and blend nicely with the landscape.
